Thermostat with 4 wires, red, green, white and blue; no yellow wire to connect to new thermostat

\015 I have an old mercury thermostat [Lennox/white Rodgers P/N 32M7601, Type LR27935 class 2 1F56W-92], and I purchased a Lennox Comfortsense 3000 non-programmable digital thermostat [Model No. L3011C] to replace it. \302\240I have a Lennox single-stage heat/cool system [Model No. HSXB15-060-230 condensing unit with a gas heat CBX32MV-060 inside unit]. \302\240The old thermostat is wired as follows:\012\012Wall. \302\240\302\240\302\240\302\240\302\240Old Thermostat\012Red. \302\240\302\240\302\240\302\240\302\240\302\240RH with jumper to RC\012Green. \302\240\302\240\302\240Green\012White. \302\240\302\240\302\240\302\240White\012Blue. \302\240\302\240\302\240\302\240\302\240\302\240Y with a yellow jumper to back of thermostat\012\012Therefore, the wires out of wall are comprised of red, white, green and blue\012My new thermostat has a terminal strip with Red, Green, Yellow, White, "L" and "C". I know that "C" is common and "L" is service indicator which will not be connected on new thermostat. \302\240However, without a yellow wire from wall, I am not sure whether I connect the blue from wall to "C" or "Y". \302\240\012I tried to install new thermostat and connected the red to red, green to green and white to white. \302\240But When I connected the blue from the wall to the Y on the terminal strip, there was no power to thermostat. \302\240When I moved the blue to C the thermostat had power and inside blower kicked on, but the condenser would not work.\012\012My question is how do I fix this problem of no yellow wire from wall? \302\240Do I need a jumper? \302\240Any help would be greatly appreciated.\015
