Having problems with your Air Conditioners ?

Rheem Power Vent gas water heater (only 2 years old) had electronic thermostat/gas valve fail. Received warranty replacement today but I can't get the old assembly out. I cannot get it to budge even using 1 foot pipe wrench and tapping on the end with a sledge. Hesitant to put much more torque as I am afraid of damaging the tank. This is natural gas heater so uses right-hand threads (so I am trying to turn counterclockwise). Threads are too far inside the tank wall - can't reach them with p

Answers :

Hello Try a "breaker bar" on the end of the pipe wrench.Good news is that the control threads are BRASS and the tank is steel, meaning the control will always come out (without spray oil).Counter clockwise is correct.Have faith and lay into it!

Have an old Rinnai Gas Heater (approximately 30 years old) still working well, but we had to turn off the gas, and now cannot turn it on again. We have two buttons, one below the other, one is red and say On, the other is black. We also have an ignition button at the side. However, we were under the impression that we had to push the red button to get the pilot alight, then hold it there for a few seconds for it to fire up BUT the pilot light does not stay on - just fades away. Can't find

You are half-way right, to light the pilot, light it and push down the red button and hold it for at ----least2-minutes-- till the flame heats up the pin (thermocouple- which fire-thermocouple metal makes electricity which sends it to the gas valve a ... Rinnai Air Conditioners

I only need natural gas in the winter to run my furnace. I have electric stove and water heater to try and save money. Even though I use no gas, The Gas Company charges fees that amount to approximately $30.00/Month. Before DeRegulation AGL didn't charge excessive monthly charges per month to maintain service. If I cancel service, I have cancellation fees and then in November when I sign up with another server, I have AGL hookup charges and charges by the Server to start Service. All Gas C

I have a Dyna-Glo RMC-50LPT propane heater that is about 5 years old and I can't get rid of the yellow flames when it operates. I have tried: - removing the heater and blowing everything out with a compressor - blowing the copper gas line out with a compressor - replacing the regulator that is attached to the propane tank The tank is a 100lb tank that was filled in the fall and the heater has barely been run at all. The pilot seems to work fine with a mostly blue flame (only the very tip is

I have Ruud Silhouette ii, about 5-6 yrs old...heater will work for a while, then it shuts down, house gets cold, I'd bang on the heater box, it comes back on..why does it do that? It does that every couple days. Doesn't matter if I have it on auto or on hold. Also I'm confused about air filter with the arrow, which way to use as I'm not sure which way blower is blowing (I'm deaf). Thanks so much!

Rob, the blower always blows into the furnace therefore the arrow should always point to the furnace. As far as the unit failing at times, you may have a lose wire. Inspect all wires and reconnect them after cleaning if they look suspicious. Turn off ... Ruud UBHC Air Conditioner
