Having problems with your Air Conditioners ?

Blower fan stays running. Fan relay attached to small circuit board (coil tabs [timer?]). Capacitor on small circuit board had ''fallen out'' of ic board. Tried to get replacement board, and was sold just a standard relay - told that relay alone replaced the previous relay -and- circuit board configuration (?). Problem still exists (no change). Also changed thermostat just to eliminate as a possible cause, but seems like problem must be in the fan relay area. Question about the wires attache

I have a duo-therm thermostat that I think is the problem. My a/c only works when the fan is swithced to the on position but does not work in the auto position, also the heater does not come on and work unless i tie a jumper line to the ground wire. I have been told that the problem could be the thermostat or the circuit board in the a/c. If I can I would replace the thermostat with a digital.

Try changing the thermostat out first. Make sure that you set the set switches in the thermostat for the proper medium you are using. If the unit is heated with gas make sure you set the thermostat settings for gas ( there is a small switch inside ... Dometic Rooftop RV Air Conditioner

A Nordyne air handler, model B3BV-030K, with 4 wire thermostat. Thermostat and AC works fine in "cool". Switch it to "heat" and nothing happens. No fan, no heat.(I have built in heat strips -resistors). I jumpered (on the nordyne circuit board-input from thermostat) from R to W. (24 volts from R to W, which should start the heater. Nothing. No relay "click" like when AC comes on. If i jumper R to Y, AC comes on ok. Does this sound like a relay gone bad on the circuit board? Or what? If relay bad,

Ruud furnace Model UGPH-10EBRJR Silhouette ll. blower fan stays on continously, (also draft blower) and the only way it will shut off is to disconnect power. I've even disconnected the thermostat wires to circuit board and blower still comes on as aoon as power is connected. I've disconnected everything on the circuit board except for blower wires and 24 volt transformer and it still com

I was expecting to find this relay. It's not there. My unit has a rather complicated looking circuit board. The circuit board seems to have been made by Emerson Climate Technology. On the top edge of the circuit board is printed "Climate Talk" and the number "4672H". There is also a Bar Code sticker affixed to the circuit board that bears the number 11014630400034. Where do I connect the thermostat wires (red & white)?

I have a suburban lp furnace and duotherm air/heat pump roof unit. duothern thermostat. 20 amp breaker kicked ( reset breaker) & furnace quit. NOW furnace fan comes on but does not light, and the front AC will not work either, when in the COOL position on STAT the unit blows warm air instead of cold. I replaced the Thermostat and a Tech guy checked the board in the furnace and it was OK. He also switched the board from the rear air with the front and nothing changed. Rear air and heat pump works

Carrier 48nmx030 heater does not work. A/C does. Fan does. Bypassed thermostat and changed settings on thermostat to engage the unit. Main circuit board clicks suggesting that the switch on the board is functioning. There is no response at the igniter module at all. Could the igniter module be defective? There is no attempt by the igniter module to self start the heater.... no clicking or gas movement.

Yes it is most likely it has gone out.The igniter is usually the first thing to go.Moister and heat take a toll on the unit. You need to put a volt meter,(at least 24 volt). Not knowing the volt, off hand 12 or 24 volt, but the volt meter gauged for at ... Air Conditioners

Indoor fan motor continue to run even if the thermostat is in auto position with the cool and heat switch in the off position. The furnance don't have a fan on and off switch in the furnance like most. The only way to turn the fan motor off is to turn off thr high power switch. My coleman Evcon model DGATO70BDC 1994 starts up and then locks out. The pilot lights and then furnace runs for maybe 2-5 minutes and all that is still running is the air chamber fan. There is no circuit board just basic electronic ignition, relays thermo senors and etc.. Any help would greatly be appreciated. James

I was running the genarator with the a/c on and the genarator stopped with the a/c on.No power to the a/c. I plug in the motor home to 120 current and tried the front a/c and the compressor comes on without the fan when the thermostat is in off position. the only way I can shut it off is change the switch to rear air position. Hello my air conditioner is not blowing cold air. It seems like only the fan is working. I set the temp to between 16-18 celcius and the temp that is showing is 28 celcius. Also is showing E5 on the ac small screen. It was serviced about 3 weeks ago and was working fine. This problem started about 2 days ago. Nothing has changed and nothing has been tampered with. Hope you can help Thanks :)

What did they do when it was serviced? It sounds like there may be a leak if it does not get cold at all anymore.Although, lasting 3 weeks, depending on how much you used it,it would be a very tiny hole leaking. The other most likely suspect would be the ... Air Conditioners

Hi, I have a Britony Combi SE. I have had a persistent problem whereby I am presented by fault lights 40-80. I am aware that this is a common fault and usually relates to water pressure. That has been tested and not the problem. In an attemp to fix the problem the engineer has changed a printed circuit board which again hasnt fixed the issue, what is happening is that on the circuit board there is a 3amp fuse which keeps blowing. The problem is we don't know what is causing this. Can you help?

I have an old Ruud(ac/heater)top house. Maybe 20 years old. the fan extracting hot air from coils sometimes stops working and the unit does not cool. I called a local repair man and he changed a small module of some sort. he said it was the problem. two weeks later the samething. I believe he's an idiot and im relectant in calling another repairman. I went up and with a small screwdriver i gave the fan a little push and it began to work. Can the fan motor be the problem?

Agree, this clearly is a fan motor problem when pushing it made it run. Most fans that have the same issue may need bushing / bearing replacement. and if that did not resolve the issue, then a recoil will surely put the rotating power bac ... Ruud UAKA060 Air Conditioner

I have a remote comfort control with 3308448.004 relay board. Press Heat button to turn unit on and it does NOT turn on. Have 115VAC to the relay board and have 12VDC to remote control reciever. Sounds like the remote control reciever is bad?? Can I switch my system to the "wired" control system without changing the relay board? I assume it is possible that the relay board is also bad. Is this a common fault with these units?
